We're really excited about the proposals for Bow. #LoveYourNeighbourhood https://t.co/CZ39BltoZc— Tower Hamlets Council (@TowerHamletsNow) March 5, 2019
The scheme aims to reduce pollution, increase the proportion of people walking and cycling and reduce traffic.
This scheme, together with the Tower Hamlets "Love your neighbourhood" programme and the forthcoming Hackney to the Isle of Dogs Cycle Superhighway, are likely to have a huge impact on our area.
You can find out further general information about the TfL scheme here.
We will publish further details when they become available.
Great! Can we now campaign to ensure that the first - inexpensive - improvement they make is to restore the right turn from Burdett Road at Mile End junction, thus saving countless dangerous U-turns in Grove Road and reducing unnecessary traffic bottlenecks, pollution and risks to pedestrians, cyclists and drivers alike?
