Last Monday a new pizza restaurant "The Pizza Room" opened in Grove Road right next door to the Greedy Cow. It was a busy night and the pizzas flowed as locals enjoyed free tastings from the menu washed down with italian reds and whites.
The pizzas are very yummy: 48-hour raised sour dough, thin crusts, the freshest of ingredients and cooked in minutes in their clay oven. Simple, honest food. The restaurant, on the site of the long-closed "Happy Chops" chinese restaurant, has been opened by Pamela and Awet who have barely caught their breath from getting the Coffee Room going just a couple of doors along and they have a young child to boot.
For the moment they are open Monday-Saturday 5-10PM to eat in or to take away and until the end of February MEOTRA residents can get 20% off by quoting "authentic". Please pop along and show your support.
